How Does it Work?

Speed dating is a way to meet new people by going on short, one-on-one dates with multiple people in a single evening. The process typically involves the following steps:

  • 1. Registration

    Advance registration is required.

  • 2. Pairing

Participants are paired up with a different partner for each round, or "date". The number of partners depends on the number of participants, but it's usually between 10 and 15.

  • 3. Dates

Dates typically last between 5 and 10 minutes. During each date, participants can chat with their partners to learn about each other. Some recommend starting each date with a short personal bio or a question to serve as a conversation starter.

  • 4. Signal

When the date is over, a signal like a bell or the clinking of a glass indicates it's time to move on to the next partner. Participants are given a few minutes between rounds to jot down their impressions on a scorecard.

  • 5. Contact Information

At the end of the event, we will gather your scorecards. Within 48 hours, if two people indicate interest, the organizers will contact you to share their contact information. If a participant does not find a match, we offer a consolation. This comes in the form of a 50% discount for our next speed dating event. This way, participants have another chance to find their match, and at a reduced cost. We believe in giving everyone the best chances at finding a connection. 🖤
